Dear Harris Farm Markets,

As a customer, I was disappointed to learn that Harris Farm is selling date brands sourced from illegal Israeli settlements in occupied Palestine.

These settlements have been deemed illegal under international law by the Australian Government, the United Nations and the International Court of Justice.

Israeli dates sourced from illegal Israeli settlements, are contributing to the dispossession  and displacement of Palestinian farmers. They should not be sold by a company that promotes itself as ethical, community-friendly and farmer-friendly.

I respectfully urge Harris Farm to:

* Publicly commit to ethical supply chains, compliant with Australian and international law
* Support food systems that do not rely on crimes against humanity, such as the Israeli apartheid system and the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people
